Life as Thank You 49

Dear Debbie and Steve,

I am taking this opportunity to let you know how grateful I am that you are in my life. When we first started attending EvFree I had a really hard time connecting in the service and was really homesick for Christ Church in Illinois. Then we found the Encounter service and your teaching style!  Thank you.

Little did we know that Jim would have the privilege of teaching with you at Biola and little did we know that I would work, albeit briefly. with you both on staff. Little did we know that we knew some of the same people in AZ.  Little did we know that one day our children would fall in love and marry each other. But God knew. And you both have been a huge blessing in the life of my family. I am grateful.

Thank you both for your teaching. I am grateful for your wisdom and giftedness with God’s Word. Thank you both for championing the value of women in ministry. Thank you both for your hospitality and generosity.

Thank you for raising a godly young man by example and by lifestyle. I prayed for you and Connor for all of Em’s life and I now praise Him for you by name! Thank you accepting Emily and loving her as your daughter. I look forward to years of continued family relationship with joy and gratitude that we get to journey through life together.

May God continue to lead and guide you with joy and hope everyday.
