Life as a Thank you – 14
In 2016, I decided to write an old- school thank you note each week as a disciple to gratitude, and last week I was at the LA Festival of Books and saw more than one title illustrated by you! I felt so proud and humbled by the privilege of knowing you and grateful for the time you poured into my daughter. I wanted to tell you thank you for loving Jesus and my daughter so well, especially during an extremely dark season for her. I was always grateful to know that she had someone she could be open and safe with. I am also grateful that you pursued excellence with your art as well. What an amazing example both you and Byron have been and continue to be to my kids!
Dear Byron,
I wanted to take this opportunity to express my thanks to you too. Thank you for teaching Emily the ukelele and sharing your incredible talent with Clayton; I am grateful for how you brought out a love for both guitar and worship in your lessons with him. I am so glad you poured into him and mentored him with faith and music, especially at the season when he needed that outlet for grief! I am so thankful to God for both you and your wife.
May God continue to supply all your needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus!
Miriam
