Life as a thank You 38 : Emily Ruth – 24!

Today is my anniversary! The day I became a mom for the first time!

Emily, it is your birthday. I want to say thank you for being my daughter (even though you didn’t have a choice!). I am grateful for the things you have taught me ever since you were born. I am so proud of you. You are beautiful inside and out. You are making choices that would please your heavenly Father and your father who is in heaven. You are grown up but still growing in grace and faith. I am so glad that you are painting again. I love to hear your laugh. Signs of healing for which I am grateful. I am not quite sure how I got to parent someone so smart and talented and generous and silly, but I am glad for the journey.
