Happy Anniversary #3

It is your third anniversary! It seems like it should be longer because I can’t remember life before you were married – which means I am either suffering memory loss or it is because you guys chose each other so well and are living out marriage with hard work!  Maybe both!

I think there is not much I can say as far as advice goes. My own marriage is now so far in the rear view mirror. I will always cling to the primary truth that the most important factor in a good marriage is a strong relationship with God and a solid friendship with each other.

Secondly, life is too short to do anything ungratefully. Gratitude and grumbing cannot coexist and one gives life … Keep choosing that one.

Lastly, humor gives perspective. Keep laughing. Keep living with intentionality. Keep Jesus first. I love you. I am so excited for you in your 4th year of marriage as you add parenthood.
