Is it worth it?!

Is it worth it? That is the question one of the Biola inter-term missionaries asked.  When sick in a hospital in India, it is hard to wrap one’s mind around the idea that all the money and effort to go half way around the world to tell people about Jesus. But the pictures each team shared collectively shouted, “YES!” Each person, even if our paths never cross again, is worth our love and kind words. Each child, in a culture that easily dispenses of girls and undesirables, in countries that marginalize even more than those in our own country, is worth it! And by going at such an expense we communicate that their lives matter.
