Dear Emily Ruth,

There has not been a day since you came that I have felt I could come up for air. The journey of motherhood has been incredibly intense, fast-paced, and challenging—but in a way that pushed me to grow, adapt, and find strength I didn’t know I had. I have always felt in over my head with you and that is a good thing because it has taught me that I can do hard things, to never give up, to lean into the Lord for the best ways to be your mom.  I have become a better person because of you.
